Hedgehogs

What can we do about hedgehogs getting run over in Charlbury? There are many about at the moment and also many squashed on the road. We're only supposed to be a 30mph zone and they're not exactly easy to run over considering they're about the width of a car tyre at most - you'd have to be pretty accurate with your aim to fully squish one, so it continually baffles me why there are so many dead.
