I met one of the volunteers whilst on my daily dog walk.

 Like other hedging around Charlbury it is being rejuvenated. The dead wood removed and set out in a way which will encourage thicker growth.  It does look rather drastic but provides better homes for wildlife & will also provide dense growth re visibility & noise pollution.

Hi does anyone know why the headgegrow and trees are being cut away at the Skatepark please? I thought they were there to hide the skatepark and create a sound barrier between the park and the housing near by?

Large areas have been chopped away making the skatepark highly visible and removing the natural beauty of the trees and shrubs.
