They were significantly cheaper than alternatives too. https://www.greenbuildingstore.co.uk The person to speak to at GBS is Luke Gillman - who leads their windows team. luke.gilman@greenbuildingstore.co.uk You might question wood framed windows, they are pre-painted with long-lasting paint and have a 10 year guarantee, after which you may need to give them a quick rub down in any places they need it and touch up. We installed the windows in two stages. So far our first set of windows are about six years old and show absolutely no signs of needing any remedial work. GBS (who are based in Yorkshire) did the first stage with their own team who work around the country. The second time some years later they were busy - and recommended their local partner David Hunt: dave@windowology.co.uk David is based in Swindon - but works across West Oxfordshire. Both teams worked swiftly, efficiency and professionally. |

Fri 16 Feb 2024, 15:03 Hi We are considering replacing six windows in the spring. Can anybody recommend a local measure and fitting company? Not yet decided type but it's not a period or listed property! |
