Going by a recycling centre in the near future?

If so, could you possibly take my next door neighbour's dehumidifier with you?

It's 23 inches by 12 inches by 8 (58 cm x 30 x 20) - so it'll fit into almost any car boot. My neighbour, Alison Dowley, is housebound and not on the web - but she'd be really grateful if anyone with spare car space could call her on 01608 810188, leaving a message on her phone if you don't get an immediate answer.

The nearest recycling centre is Dix Pit, near Standlake, and the next nearest is at Redbridge on the Old Abingdon Road in Oxford. But there's a map of all the publicly operated recycling centres in Oxfordshire on the OCC website. They all take electricals like this.

However, many of the private-sector retailers listed as recycling large electricals on  Oxfordshire's Waste Wizard have conditions that may not apply to dehumidifiers.
