Hi Lynn, I am experienced live in carer and I have been twice on assignment in Charlbury. I am self-employed and I work privately 7 days a week on the rota basis along with 2 other carers if needed cover. I have DBS check and all trainings with references. Phone:07823391828

Elder Care, as recommended by Miles, is primarily an introduction service for seniors, their family members and potential carers. As such, the reviews on Trustpilot are quite mixed. 

Definitely operating in the Charlbury is Oxford Aunts, and they offer much more than an introduction service. The carers are vetted and trained, and there is back-up when things go wrong. They get good word-of-mouth reviews, although there are not very many reviews on Trustpilot. I haven't used them myself, but have been impressed with the Oxford Aunt carers whom I have met when out and about.

I have personally used Angel Care, used by Oxfordshire County Council and based primarily in Witney. Most of the carers are recruited from Zimbabwe, and most now live in Witney. They suited me well when relying on them for a few weeks after discharge from hospital, and I do recommend them. But they are, I suspect, not very suitable for the kind of dementia lunchtime care that you want, Lynn.

We’re looking for company & a meal served to Sheila ideally Mon-Fri but would appreciate any time you are able.
