Tue 6 Feb, 23:42 Feathered Nest no longer listed as far as I can see. Doesn't mean it isn't good,. It was listed in 2022, but not now. |

Tue 6 Feb, 22:17 Feathered Nest in Nether Westcote has a Michelin star and deservedly so! It’s only a 20 minute drive from Charlbury en route to Bourton! |

Tue 6 Feb, 09:40 But the restaurant, The Dining Room, is in Whatley Manor, Easton Grey, so inside the AONB. Listed by Michelin as Malmesbury. |

Tue 6 Feb, 08:26 There’s a couple of one-stars at the southern end of the AONB – Castle Combe and Colerne. But it might be the only one in the North Cotswolds. |

Tue 6 Feb, 07:41 (last edited on Tue 6 Feb, 07:45) Michelin announced yesterday it's given The Bull (ours, not Burford's) a Bib Michelin award. This is just about the lowest award level Michelin lists - and many Charlburians will be a tad amused to discover Michelin describes the award as for "continued commitment to offering affordable, delicious cooking." Well, maybe "affordable" is as subjective in restaurant guides as in descriptions of housing. But it's the only Michelin cooking award I've been able to find in the Cotswolds - the Manoir aux Quatre Saisons being outside the AONB and the various Daylesford Michelin listings not actually getting any awards yet. Anyone know of any others? |
