The 'Road Closed' signs at Fiveways were removed around 3.30pm yesterday afternoon allowing all traffic in the evening to use the Slade to reach Enstone road.

Seems like a few are ignoring the road closure and using the road to get from one end to the other, avoiding diversions. In fairness, there is temporary traffic lights which I would have thought made more sense than closing the road anyway.

Would help if they had diversion signs not just "please find alternative route" sign as there is on the Enstone cross roads

Have just driven past and there is now a diversion sign taking cars towards Enstone nice easy short diversion then 🤔

Yesterday they had finished by 4 and left half of the road open with traffic lights, so we didn't see what rush hour was like.

It’s closed by the school so you can get to the Green and Ditchley Road from Enstone crossroads and go down dancers hill from Fiveways.

It is a warning that the road ahead is closed. Sturt Road and The Slade can be accessed as far as Dancers Hill.
