Ladies Walking Football

Sat 27 Jan, 12:12 Walking football has been played at the Community Centre for over 5 years now and last year we recruited our first lady player. In 2024 the FA are keen to promote walking football for ladies and Charlbury Town Walking Football would like to help with this initiative and develop it here in Charlbury. However, before we go any further, it would be interesting to find out how much interest there might actually be in the town. We are thinking of creating a 'ladies only' session perhaps on a weekday/time that best suits the majority (and the availability of the sports hall!). Alternatively, we would always welcome any ladies at our regular sessons on a Wednesday afternoon and save Lizz from being the only one! Interested? Got any questions? |
