Thu 25 Jan, 23:41 I regret to say that some time ago I let him in and bought some things - very overpriced. On his next visit I sent him away, but he startled my neighbour by going into her flat and asking for food. He turned up again today, but I put on my Queen Mother look and dismissed him rather smartly. Hannen's advice is good; be warned. |

Thu 25 Jan, 14:31 Just had one at Wellington Cottages, even though I have the sticker on the front door, which the lovely PCSO Wesley gave me, saying that it is a criminal offence. Usual spiel: ex army. I told him where to go, and got a mouthful of abuse, which only served to confirm my suspicions. Please don't give into them. There are ex-prisoner, and ex-forces charities they can turn to. |
