Thanks for the warning, Rosemary. We need to be there early on Tuesday. It seems that all that is happening is that the former staff car park A3 is being swapped with car park 1, which, looking at Google satellite view, could be a small gain for public parking. Let's hope there is an effective level of new signage to mitigate any additional chaos this could engender.

I have just seen this on BBC NEWS app, on my iPad.

One of the public car parks at a major Oxfordshire hospital is set to change to be for staff only.

Car Park 1 at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford will no longer be for patients and visitors from 08:00 GMT on Monday.

The public spaces will move to Car Park A3 at Camel's Head, next to the helipad.
