Flooding on Witney road

B4022 Hailey Road flooded - stay safe everyone.

I have just driven that route in a rather ordinary car (mk II Ford Focus), and whilst there is verge to verge flooding in some parts, there was nothing that presented a real obstacle to me. However, there's a huge amount of run-off from the fields, so maybe it will get worse for a while.

On the Witney road near The Bird in Hand the X9 bus managed to get through but some cars were trying to turn round - about 2.45pm. Suggest avoid if possible.

Also on B4030 at Gagingwell, fine this morning but barely passable by lunchtime

There are various areas of flooding on the main road to Witney, particularly 

at the Finstock station bridge turn and near The Bird in the Hand pub. Passable with care at 12 but may be worse now.
