Am I right in thinking the north lodge entrance is the one near to the Charlbury Pre School building?

Dear All,

1st January 2024 - 9am til 4pm

Can you believe it’s nearly a New Year again. We hope 2023 has been good to you, your family and friends.

As usual the residents of Charlbury are warmly welcomed to walk in the Deer Park at Cornbury on New Year's Day between 9am and 4pm. Access is via the main North Lodge entrance.

Reminders for the day:

• Walkers are requested not to park on the drive at North Lodge.

• Please keep to the roads and hard tracks at all times and remain within the boundaries of the Park.

• Sorry but dogs, even those well behaved and on leads are not allowed in the park as they can upset the deer that are currently in-fawn.

• The park is open as a walk. Please no bicycles.

• After heavy rainfall the lake levels can be high and bank sides become slippery - so please keep away from the edges of the lakes.

• Please respect the privacy of Cornbury House and the other houses within the Deer Park. These are family homes.

• Follow any other guidance as provided by signs or a member of the Estate team.
