Books at Late-Night Shopping (5 - 8 pm this Friday)

A great evening .. plenty of money raised for charity, and an enjoyable occasion for all involved. Thanks to all those who bought & sold!

Some great opportunities for bibliophiles (and those who want to support local enterprise and to raise money for charity).  Come and support us on your way to or from the Christmas Tree Festival opening or Carol Service.

1) There's a Pop-Up Bookshop in the back/downstairs room of the Rose & Crown, exclusively selling books by local authors, including three by Fergus Butler-Gallie, our about-to-be vicar.  Come and meet the authors and see what literary enterprise our small town offers!

2) The Corner House will be open for booksales:  and in addition to our usual excellent stock of fiction, non-fiction, collectable and children's books at 20p - £2 each, we've a one-day sale there of new & secondhand local-interest books at prices from 20p - £100.  Some rare titles are included, and all are guaranteed to be at below-internet prices.
