So which area do the Spending Cuts fall on now? I thought I'd bookmarked an article from Het Grauniad from a couple of days back about just that question which only scanned a couple of first lines and meant to come back to - but alas. Did anyone note it?

Do we need to mount eternal vigilance even more strictly to stop leakage of public wealth to private gain = public squalor .

Excellent news! Let's hope we see the vacancy soon. Last time it must have been a ghost vacancy because it never made it to their website.

Perhaps now First Group will share the details of the Charlbury vacancy so it can be posted here.  Good riddance to a clearly appalling proposal.

Fantastic news! Thanks for posting. 

I can't help thinking the plans have been scrapped because the Government has belatedly realised the proposals were in breach of disability laws, and they might have been sued. 

And it does show that sometimes there is point in objecting!
