Tidying up the cemetery

Thank you to the six town councillors and volunteers who turned out his afternoon to start tidying up some of the graves which were getting really overgrown.  Not only does it look tidier but we discovered some interesting gravestones and were able to put some back together.  We also met Mr and Mrs Evans who have kindly been planting up the beds at the entrance by the lychgate.  They've provided a great display of red geraniums this year.  They live in Brize Norton and come to a number of family graves in Charlbury.

There's more work to do.  If others wish to volunteer, please let the clerk know.
