Don't forget last remaining hour to have your say on the meadow of wildflowers mentioned by Anne 6 Oct, it is pegged for destruction and to be paved over by developers and then gone forever.  Paved Paradise, put up a parking lot !!  sung in tune .

Located just off the Woodstock Road in Charlbury is a secret gem consisting of an uncultivated hay meadow that has remained a pristine reserve of wild flowers and associated wildlife since the last war.
Having had no herbicide, cultivation or disturbance apart from an annual hay crop, this field is a legacy and wildlife repository and if lost to housing development, it can never be replaced.
A planning application has been submitted, ref no: 23/02399/FUL. Any objections need to be submitted by 11th October….so only a few days left to make your comments on the WODC website.
