Hi Lisa, I'll send you a message via the forum as my son (also 14, year 10) and his friend (year 9) would be up for meeting your son when you visit if he would like that.

Have you tried clicking on the Community heading on the top of this website, and then click "Young People"? The scout page is there, but no phone no. only an email address. The town youth football club is also there, but under Sport.

If you find the Community Centre side-heading, you'll find details of the Youth Club. It's own web page is here: https://www.charlburycommunitycentre.org.uk/

The Judo is in the memorial hall. Details here: https://charlburycornerhouse.co.uk/classes/

The bowls club is also popular with young people, and its own webpage is here: https://www.charlburybowls.co.uk/

It's also worth looking at the Facebook page: "Charlbury is a Town and Not a Village" which advertises various things, including skateboarding classes.

I hope you will all be very happy here!

Hi, we are moving to Charlbury in December, I have a 14yr old son who enjoys running and nature. We are over for a week at the end of October and if possible I would like him to meet up with other teenagers so that he can find out about the area etc and then the 'big move ' isn't as daunting for him. I noticed a Judo club and scouts advertised but unfortunately the photos I took for the phone numbers aren't showing up on my phone, does anyone have these please or any information they feel is worth us knowing, ie youth club etc, thankyou in advance, Lisa.
