We watched in awe from nine acres close, so dramatic. When I saw a video from my sister in Bristol of the same cloud as in my pictures I thought it must have been over Wales - which I figured was why we couldn’t hear the thunder. It was an amazing show.

It's worth watching the sky when there are big night time storms, we saw one that was over Stoke a couple of years ago. Drove up to Catsham Lane to get a better view of it than in Charlbury itself

I didn’t see it, I was too busy watching Wales beat Fiji!

Sunday evening - anyone who can look West will see lighting frequently illuminating a large storm cloud. It’s over mid Wales - 75 miles away. I’ve a video clip but don’t know how to link to it.
