So I bit the bullet and did battle with Vodafone bots and chat. After 45 minutes eventually got an answer on the "chat" from a real person. Work in progress to be completed by 17-18th July. The post code to enter in the "network Status checker" is not your own but that nearest mast, in this case OX7 3SX. Direct link to a person not a bot is www.vodaphone.co.uk/techcd

Definitely not working on Giffgaff for me – their status still says back by 8pm tonight. Fingers crossed…

I am also struggling with Vodafone signal. Spoke to customer services just now who said there is an issue in the area which is expected to last up to 20th July. Not very satisfactory!

I've still got no O2 service but their website still says, as Colin mentioned, that they're carrying out maintenance work and that it should be restored by 8pm this evening.

I've had no Vodaphone signal since about 11 this morning, OK in Oxford this evening, and gone again getting home at 10. Searching the Vodaphone site shows no issues with this postcode. Definitely not back on by 8. Contacting Vodaphone customer service virtually impossible!

I looked up on the O2 site as Giffgaff is not that good it says

We’re carrying out some essential work on our network. While we do this, you might have some trouble with your calls, text and data.

Everything should be back to usual by 8pm on Wednesday 12th July 2023.

I'm on Giffgaff which is O2 and that's been fine all day

No service with O2 at the moment.  I believe Vodafone and O2 share masts.

Anyone else noticing that Vodafone is down in the area? Seems to have been off for a couple of hours. 

UPDATE - Vodafone are working in the area. Expected service disruption until 8pm
