While I'm not really interested in old sit-com re-runs there might be stuff like old drama series and Documentaries from the past I never saw or missed much of at the time. It wasn't until the 'teens that we got a "smart-tv" and access to iPlayer; and a lot of stuff doesn't seem accessible on iPlayer much more than about a few weeks, when it drops into the void.

So, is a subscription to BritBox - which also seems to allow ad-free viewing of commercial broadcasters too - correct? - worth the monthly cost?

I'm not, at present, finding that much TV of interest and spend a lot of time listening to history and science podcasts, being one of ill-health, many injuries, and not able to get out much .

Advice/observations folks?
