Mon 26 Jun 2023, 10:29 I expect this has been reported on locally already but have just read that Mr Clarkson's appeal was partially successful in that the Inspector approved the extension of the car park and a change of use application to mixed use, comprising agriculture, café, farm shop, parking and lavatory facilities. But he put a 3 year time limit on it (which could be extended later depending on circumstances at the time) and refused permission for a restaurant in a barn. Quite how that will work where the permission includes a cafe - and given the identity of the appellant - dear reader I leave to your imagination! Not sure if this link will work but try here if you want to see the full decision (or via the Planning Inspectorate website): Appeal Decisions - Diddly Squat Farm 3306729 and 3308506.pdf |
