Through Rail Service Restored

Further to Brian's post, the Oxford-Didcot shuttle trains have been running since about 7.30am.

Network Rail has issued an update, including a video showing a train crossing the viaduct this morning.

It is expected that our through rail service to Paddington will resume as planned on Saturday 10 June. An hourly service between Oxford and Didcot is planned to operate throughout tomorrow, Friday, to prove that all remedial work has been completed satisfactorily.
