So many drivers sit in their cars and vans with their engines running.  They clearly do not understand that they are pumping dirt into the air.

So - being me - looking at the driver I often do a polite mime of switching off an engine - and then move on.  Often I am ignored.  This morning a van driver switched his engine off, opened his window, smiled, and shouted "Thanks love".
