Litter on Nine Acres

I am appalled at the amount of litter I found on Nine Acres today while walking my dogs. Cans, plastic bottles, sweet and snack bar wrappers etc; all strewn around the children’s play area and the benches alongside the football pitch. Given that there are 3 litter bins just a few steps away, it’s a pity that some users of the facilities have such disregard for the environment. I collected 4 large ‘poo’ bags of other peoples litter.

Please if you use the play area, have a check around before you leave for any thing that has been dropped, and pop it in a bin.
