Sun 9 Apr 2023, 14:43 The Ascott Martyrs 150th Anniversary is being celebrated with many events in June, starting on Friday June 16th with a prestigious conference at FarmEd. Shipton under Wychwood. There is now much national interest on the traumatic and consequential event of 1873 when 16 women from Ascott under Wychwood were imprisoned for supporting their menfolk who were on strike. We would like to film the speakers etc for publication on YouTube, is there anyone available to help? Message me for more details. Thank you |
