As John said, the live in the field where the horses and chickens are kept along Quarry Lane. I often see them in the field together with the chickens, which is lovely. I hope they find their way home.

There is a small holding on the lane I believe guinea fowl are kept there, they do have a habit of wandering. I will let the owner know. John H

There was a gaggle of birds - I'm not sure what type they were, but they were greyish with darker heads - in the quarry just off Quarry Lane this morning at about 7.45. They seemed a bit distressed and confused - I wondered if they had escaped from somewhere.
