Fri 3 Feb 2023, 14:41 If you are of the same opinion as the late John Betjeman, the omission of a stop at Slough might be no great loss! On the other hand, it removes one option for getting to Heathrow. |

Wed 1 Feb 2023, 17:23 Some good news though: it looks like the trains will no longer stop at Slough, and most of the evening trains (though not the 16.58) will have their Reading calls reinstated. |

Wed 1 Feb 2023, 14:34 The train times from the May timetable change are starting to appear on timetable websites, and it looks like the 06.26 to Paddington will no longer run. (It will be starting from Oxford instead of from Hereford.) Apparently the timetables may yet change, but the Government has been requiring train companies to make cuts and it sounds like this is one that is going to fall on Charlbury. |
