Members, please join us for our next talk when Carol Anderson, Manager of the County Museum Service, and former Director of the Oxfordshire Museum will explore with us the development of glove making, from its medieval origins as a small local craft activity, to one which by the 19 th century, employed thousands across West Oxfordshire and provided a living for many women and girls in rural areas.
