Bank Holiday weekend: extra opening times at the museum

Charlbury Museum commemorates the 'Beating the Bounds' tragedy in 1924 with a special exhibition. Unique photographs from the museum's archives capture a day of celebration which dramatically changed to one of tragedy and the death of three children. Explore the traditions and history of this ancient custom, read the stories of that fateful day.        (This exhibition is supported by Charlbury Town Council)

Opening times: Sat. May 4  morning: 10.30 -12.30, afternoon 2.30 -4.30 Sun. May 5 & Mon. May 6 : 2.30- 4.30

Entry: adults £2 children free (no card facilities, cash only please)
